We are busy and are therefore looking for a lawyer who can assist our Head of Legal with legal advice to managers and employees at Save the Children within a wide range of legal areas, with a particular focus on GDPR, contracts and general legal compliance.

As a lawyer at Save the Children, you will be part of a small, integrated team consisting of Reception, Facility Management and Legal. Together with the Head of Legal, you will form the legal function. We emphasize that we have a good time together, and the tone is characterized by respect and good humor.

JOB TASKS Our new lawyer will, among other things, have to assist with the following:

Strengthen Save the Children’s work to ensure legal compliance, including GDPR compliance.
Review, prepare and quality assure contracts, including cooperation agreements with municipalities and other project partners, consulting agreements, partnership agreements, data processing agreements, etc.
Prepare and update our standard contracts.

Build and continuously maintain our contract database and contract management. et1rDXA BOCpsN
Ensure ongoing development and maintenance of policies, procedures, guidelines and templates, as well as other relevant material.
Provide legal advice to managers and employees in various areas, including AI regulation, dispute resolution and insurance.

WHO ARE YOU? You have a Master of Laws or Master of Business Administration with 3-4 years of experience in a similar role and have experience in at least one of the following areas: GDPR, contracts and/or legal compliance.

In addition, it is also important that you:

has good commercial understanding and knows how to identify and manage legal risks.
have an eye for detail and are structured in your task solving.
is strong in written and oral communication of otherwise sometimes complex material.
is comfortable with having many different tasks that often need to be solved quickly.
have good English skills – both spoken and written
At the same time, it is important that you are welcoming and contribute in a good mood.
