Project coordinator for Toddlers Club Initiative Vacancy-Job Ref: EJDKSTC/2005/2025812
Copenhagen (Denmark)
Save the Children Denmark is looking for a project coordinator for a maternity leave position in our successful development effort Toddler Clubs. Our strong Toddler Club team consists of a program manager and two project coordinators and you will be an important part of a dissemination project where Toddler Clubs will be launched in several cities. You will be responsible for the project coordination of the already established Toddler Clubs and, together with the other project coordinator, must ensure stable operations, develop workflows and strengthen the attachment of volunteers to the clubs.
The toddler clubs are a collaboration between municipalities and Save the Children, where children aged 0-6 and their families meet. The families participate in the clubs together with volunteers who ensure that it is a good experience for both children and adults. Occasionally, professionals participate, offering advice and concrete tools that the families can take home.
Save the Children is the world’s largest independent children’s rights organization. In Denmark, we work to strengthen children’s rights, prevent bullying, violence and abuse, promote well-being and ensure better conditions for vulnerable children. We do this through advice, education and building strong communities in civil society with a focus on volunteer forces. Save the Children is in a strong and positive development, and we believe that sustainability in our work is achieved through committed partnerships across sectors and by involving and listening to children. This is precisely where we need your help.
You will have professional leadership through the program manager for Toddler Clubs and will be part of the Volunteer Driven Initiatives team. You will report to the team manager.
As a maternity cover coordinator, you will :
